Eskape_project - Update 3

It’s been a while since I last provided an update on this project. A lot has changed in the past month and a half; but I won’t bore you with all the details.

I will say that I still want to make a Role Playing Game; but that game will have to wait, for now. I realized, among a swirling torrent of change that has swept over me since my last project update, that this project was initially so ambitious that it would take me months, maybe even a year, to create a working prototype; something I would be proud to show off. And for many reasons, it can’t take that long. Not right now.

I’m still making a game. And these updates will still go by the same name; but what I’m working on now is (sadly) a little less epic; but (happily) quite a bit more manageable, and incredibly more doable.

And there is really great news out of all this too; due to recent licensing changes made by Unity3D, it is now possible for me to initially target mobile platforms for deployment of this project! I’m not ready to release specifics on which mobile platforms the project will be targeting, but it is a very exciting development, nevertheless.

I hope to get back into a schedule of posting more regular updates on Eskape_project. Though I can’t promise weekly updates, I will definitely try to be more consistent. Who knows, some weeks there may even be more than one update!

In closing, I will quote a man I truly respect, and whose words still resonate today:
